Dakota Johnson was the epitome of femininity at the Venice Film Festival on Friday night. The Fifty Shades of Grey actress, on hand to promote her latest film Black Mass, chose a pale, dusty pink gown with spaghetti straps, simple drop earrings and casually upswept hair. She makes it all look so effortless.
When you're in Italy, it doesn't hurt to have Prada in your camp. Indeed, the house custom-made this simple silhouette just for Johnson. Sadly, that means you can't buy this exact dress, but you can partake of the pretty blush Prada hue. Fortunately, there are some stunning alternatives online. We think the Always Charming maxi dress is a steal while the Roland Mouret draped silk satin gown at Net-A-Porter is a structural masterpiece.
While she may have been thrust into the limelight by her starring role alongside Jamie Dornan in the erotic 2015 flick, but Dakota was on the arm of another mega-star on Friday.
She was joined by Black Mass co-star Johnny Depp for the red carpet premiere, which will see the pair unveil their latest work.
Dakota stars as Lindsey Cyr in the biographical drama, a story about Whitey Bulger, the brother of a state senator and one of the most infamous violent criminal in the history of South Boston of the 20th century.
Whitey is played by Depp and follows the true retelling of how he became an FBI informant to take down a Mafia family invading his turf.
