On the small screen, Andie MacDowell has been busy playing a career-hungry woman with no private life.

And it seems the Jane by Design star likes to spend time with her co-stars away from the cameras as well. appears to relish time spent with her family.

The 54-year-old actress stepped out in Venice Beach, California, today with fellow actress Erica Dasher - who also stars in the TV show.

Both women looked effortlessly chic in floral dresses.

Andie opted for a more conservative Chinese-style tunic made of white silk with a print of red and white roses.

Erica, meanwhile, dressed appropriately for her younger years in a short floral cotton number with a dark zip down the front.

The young star appeared to be nursing a minor injury, wearing a cast on her right wrist.

Andie is currently starring in comedy Jane by Design, in which she plays a world-famous fashion designer.

The final episode of the show's first season recently aired, with no word yet on whether the comedy will be picked up for a second season.

MacDowell isn't resting on her laurels to find out what happens with the show, however.

She also recently shot a pilot for a new TV show called Cedar Grove, which also stars Katharine Isabelle and Jesse Moss.
