'He sings well!' Steven Tyler duets with street busker in Moscow... who fails to recognise the Aerosmith frontman

If he'd told his friends who he'd just performed with, they'dve said 'dream on'.

But this Russian busker wasn't crazy - he actually did duet with Steven Tyler.

The band are currently on tour in Moscow attracting 100,000 people to their gigs; but the singer decided on Friday to play for some non ticket-holders too.

Being mainly Russian speaking fans, the 67-year-old doesn't put too much emphasis on getting the lyrics right, makes up a couple of new ones on the spot as the busker happily strums along.

Ever the gentleman, the singer encourages the guitarist to join in for the chorus, and graciously drops up into handling the harmonies.

But the pressure of performing beside the legendary rocker forced the guitarist back into just negotiating the music.

Steve then tries to guide him into the song's bridge, but he's happy enough to continue ploughing through the chorus.

Sensing he's running out of landing room, Tyler then jumps back in and expertly guides him to an ending.

'I didn't recognize him at all,' Anisimov told the Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper. 'A foreigner came up to me and started singing along. … "He sings well," I thought. 

'But when he started to sing louder and more confidently, it dawned on me who it was. I was stunned.'

The band were performing a massive free concert on Lubyanskaya Ploshchad in Moscow as part of the City Day party, to celebrate its 868th birthday.
