She demonstrated a solid pair of lungs in the trailer for her new show Scream Queens earlier this week. 

And Lea Michele was showing off her more composed side on Friday, as she shared a picture of her Pilates workout in New Orleans.

The 29-year-old actress is seen flaunting her lithe frame, in a series of intensive poses, which she shared with her Instagram followers.

The Glee star flashed her toned abs in the snap, in a tiny cropped top and black work out pants which have the word Ride written along the side of her leg.

The beauty let her flawless skin breathe make-up free and allowed her thick brunette tresses to hang loose.

She exhibited an enviable level of flexibility - tucking her lug into a waist-high contraption to increase the stretch. 

The co-creator of her latest show, Ryan Murphy, 49, posted a link to the 'super-sized main title sequence' to his Twitter account on Wednesday. 

Lea and her Scream Queens co-star Emma Roberts are seen in the 101-second clip screaming and spinning.

The show - which will debut on September 22 with a two-hour premiere on Fox - was co-created by Ryan and Brad Falchuk who previously co-created Glee and the American Horror anthology series.

Scream Queens is a horror-comedy anthology series and its first season will focus on a series of murders involving the Kappa Kappa Tau sorority at Wallace University with one victim killed each episode.
