She was invited to join the panel on the Telluride Film Festival.

And it was clear from her beaming smile on Saturday Rachel McAdams was delighted to take part in the event in Colorado.

The actress was joined by Meryl Streep and Michael Keaton as part of the Spotlight panel on which features actors and actresses.

With her shorter blond tresses ticked behind her ears, she went for a fresh faced look as she talked to the crowd.

The 36-year-old actress wore a brown suede jacket and black and white striped jumper for her appearance.

Her film, Spotlight is part of the festival program.

It tells the story of a team of reporters on The Boston Globe who investigate the Boston Catholic Archdiocese handling of a priest’s sexual misconduct case.

She was joined by Michael Keaton, who also stars in the movie for the talks, who wore a baseball cap and sunglasses.

He was also delighted to be at the event which is in its 42nd year.

The 64-year-oldwas happy to pose alongside Meryl Streep, whose latest film Suffragette was also being showcased.

It is sure to garner plenty of attention given the gender imbalance that still exists in the world today.

Meryl was clearly proud to be a part of the period drama and on Friday night attended a party to celebrate the film at Arroyo Wine Bar in Telluride, Colorado.

The three-time Oscar winner, 66, stars as Emmeline Pankhurst, the British political activist who helped women gain the right to vote.

According to Variety, when director Sarah Gavron introduced Streep, the actress was on the receiving end of loud screams and a standing ovation from the audience.

Gavron also shared that it has taken 100 years for the story to reach the screen, and dished that she’s been wanting to get the ball rolling for nearly a decade. 

Kate Winslet was also in attendance on Saturday - her latest film, Steve Jobs, which she stars in with Michael Fassbender is also on the line up list.

The movie, which is premiering at the event, and is directed by Danny Boyle, is a biographical drama about the Apple co-founders life.
