'It's the bane of my existence': Emily Ratajkowski, whose topless dancing with Robin Thicke made her famous, blasts Blurred Lines video

It made her famous and launched her Hollywood career but Emily Ratajkowski wants the world to know she's so over the Blurred Lines video.

The 24-year-old was one of three models who danced topless with Robin Thicke in the music video for his 2013 hit.

But the sexy brunette, who credited the video with winning her a role in Gone Girl and landing her a place in the 2014 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, told InStyle UK, 'Now it's the bane of my existence.'

'When anyone comes up to me about Blurred Lines, I'm like, are we seriously talking about a video from three years ago?' she told the magazine's new issue.

The American model and actress, who was born in London and raised in California, said she doesn't have a problem with nudity.

But she clearly wants to leave that particular show of skin firmly in the past.

Talking to InStyle, Emily said she doesn't understand what all the fuss is about when it comes to her famous figure.

'It's weird to me that the reaction to a woman's naked body is so controversial in our culture,' she said.

'My mum taught me to never apologise for my sexuality. My dad never made me feel embarrassed. I also don't think I've ever had an awareness of my own body as being super-sexual. It was always just my body.

As well as being cast in Gone Girl, she's also starred in the movie Entourage and opposite Zac Efron in We Are Your Friends, released last month.

Most recently she's been filming Knights Of the Roundtable: King Arthur for director Guy Ritchie and his star-studded cast that includes Jude Law, Charlie Hunnam and Eric Bana.
