Jessie James Decker has revealed the name of her second child with husband Eric Decker.

Sharing the first photo of the newborn, she tweeted: 'Eric Thomas Decker ll, Born in Castle Rock, CO, 9lbs 20 1/4 inches. 

'We are so overwhelmed with love and feeling so blessed to have him join our family.'

Named after his father, the newborn also shares the same name as Simon Cowell's one-year-old son with girlfriend Lauren Silverman.

And though Eric is just days old, he is already supporting his father.

In the heartwarming Instagram photo, Eric lounged in a football themed shirt and beanie, clearly a nod to his father's athletic profession.

On Friday, Eric notified fans of the birth when he tweeted: 'Thanks for all well wishes! Mama and baby boy are doing great!! Vivi is the sweetest big sister!'

This is a second child for the couple that already have daughter Vivianne Rose, 17 months.

Jessie James is a country singer and Eric is a New York Jets wide receiver.

Initially the couple didn't tell fans the sex of their baby, however, they did drop hints, like saying this pregnancy was different from their last.

'The first time I threw up every day, I was really sick, really exhausted. This one, I have more energy and I don’t feel as sick, no cravings,' she told People.

'The only way I really know I’m pregnant is I feel this bump growing and a baby moving around.' 

The beauty has already said she has no plans to go on a diet.

She told American Baby after she has her second child he will take time to bond.

'I know some women slim down through nursing, but with Vivianne, my body held on to some extra pounds to make milk, and that was fine,' she said.

'I also love all the cuddling during the baby stage, like when a baby snuggles up under your chin.'
