A zest for life! Sporty Ferne McCann shows off trim stomach in a lime crop top as she takes her dog jogging

She’s recently landed her first lingerie modelling campaign.

And TOWIE’s Ferne McCann showed that keeping in shape doesn’t have to be dull as she took her dog for a jog on Friday.

The 23-year-old looked zesty in a lime green crop top which showed off her taut stomach as she splashed through a muddy field.

She wore a black hoodie with a hot-pink trim and coordinating leggings in black and lime green.

The star was accompanied by a lovable canine companion and her mother Gill, who was wearing a red waterproof Nike jacket and black trousers.

Ferne recently replaced her former castmate Lucy Mecklenburgh as the face and body for By Caprice.

But she admits that she found it a lot more difficult to get into shape than fitness fanatic Lucy.

She said: 'Lucy is naturally skinny - she had a head start! There's no doubt that she's worked hard, but bigger girls have to work harder.'

Reality star Ferne is now 5ft 8 and weighs 9st, and puts a lot of time in at the gym, training five times a week, three of which she spends with a personal trainer.

She told Closer magazine. 'I exercise five times a week... I don't follow a diet, I just eat sensibly. I've always been confident, but I feel sexy now. I love posing in my underwear.'

Ferne recently broke up from her ex-boyfriend, fellow TOWIE star Charlie Sims, who was caught cheating on her.

A source told the Sun on Sunday: 'After Charlie failed to regain her trust, she knew they couldn’t stay together – and decided to call things a day just before Christmas.'
