Steven Gerrard may have been denied the fairy tale end to his Liverpool career, but the LA Galaxy midfielder was keen to make the dreams of his family come true at least on a recent outing.
Gerrard was a picture of happiness alongside his wife Alex Curran and the couple’s three daughters at Disneyland, as the former England captain continued to adjust to his new life Stateside.
While the Three Lions secured Euro 2016 qualification with a 6-0 demolition of San Marino, the 35-year-old was taking advantage of the international break to rekindle his childhood at the enchanted palace.

Gerrard was unable to stop LA Galaxy from being narrowly defeated by San Jose Earthquakes last month
Gerrard was unable to prevent his new side from going down to a 1-0 defeat by San Jose Earthquakes in his final match before the Galaxy's fortnight break from MLS duty, but he was able to lift himself for a family day out.
As his 11-year-old daughter Lilly-Ella and younger siblings Lexie and Lourdes enjoyed the magic at the sun-drenched resort, Gerrard may have compared the Disneyland theme park to his own handywork back home.
The Reds legend splashed out £100,000 earlier this year to provide his kids an adventure play area in the gardens of his new Merseyside mansion.
Gerrard spends most of his time in Beverly Hills nowadays, but he will be able to enjoy a lavish £3million five-bedroom detached home back in Liverpool during the close season.
And the vast estate comes complete with a £10,000 giant wooden Wendy house, a private lawn and a £2,000 tree-house to keep his daughters happy.
