Rod Stewart’s son was having trouble getting over his ex girlfriend – until he saw beautiful pro surfer Anastasia Ashley.

Sean Stewart had been annoying his friend and business partner BC – by relentlessly harping about his old flame Sophia Mondi.

‘It’s a very sensitive subject, she’s the love of my life, I fell in love with her the day I saw her,’ said Sean wistfully on Sunday night’s episode of the Stewarts and Hamiltons reality show.

‘We’re the worst,’ she told him, adding: ‘If no girl’s ever told you ‘no’ in bed then you’re going with the wrong girls’.

A more serious story was told about the matriarch Alana Stewart – who runs Farrah Fawcett’s charity foundation. Her daughter Kimberly Stewart was annoyed that Alana wasn’t spending enough time with her and her daughter.

They vowed to take a trip together to bond – visiting Alana’s humble hometown of Nacogdoches, Texas.

Alana, 70, wanted to take her pistol, but Kim, 36, refused to allow it.

‘My mother is crazy about her gun,’ she said as they set off for the tiny southern town.

Alana’s mother was a troubled drug addict, leaving her grandmother to raise her with meager funds. She recounted one particularly traumatic memory when she found her mother brandishing a kitchen knife.

‘She told me not to come near her or she’d kill me,’ she said, breaking into tears.

‘These two men in white coats came and they put her in a straight jacket,’ she sobbed.

Alana’s childhood home was revealed to be a single room shack without electricity or indoor toilet.

There were still no facilities in the area, so both women had to urinate in the woods.

Alana worried that having an absent mother may have negatively affected her own parenting.

‘I tried so hard not to let you guys go through what I went through. I just feel bad you know?’ She told Kim.

Alana then vowed to try and be there for her granddaughter more often.
