Need a hand? Gillian Anderson arrives at airport loaded down with luggage as she flies out of Canada after wrapping production on The X-Files

She wrapped filming on The X-Files reboot on Thursday and it seems Gillian Anderson had to take all her belongings with her as she stopped off in Toronto for a fan expo on her way home.

The actress arrived at the city's airport to catch a flight with three enormous black suitcases on Sunday.

Even though she's a huge star, Gillian, 46, gamely pushed her own luggage on a trolley into the terminal after being dropped off curbside.

Gillian has spent the summer in Vancouver reprising her role as Agent Dana Scully opposite David Duchovny as Agent Fox Mulder for six new episodes of The X-Files.

She revealed to fans that she's had to wear a wig in order to re-create Scully's signature red hair because he own hair has been dyed and styled so much, it can no longer take the coloring process.

She wore her own natural blonde hair tied back into a pony tail for her journey and wore a black knee-length skirt with yellow leather jacket and some very high wedge heels.

In January it was announced that she and Duchovny had decided they do still 'want to believe;' and had agreed to join original series creator Chris Carter to revive their investigations into alien life forms and abduction conspiracies.

Joining the pair are many of the characters from the original series including Cigarette Smoking Man, played by William B. Davis, and Agent Frank Skinner, played by Mitch Pileggi.

The first of the new episodes is set to premiere on January 24, 2016.
