An avid social media fan, Lewis Hamilton took to Instagram on Monday where he uploaded an archive shot from his travels.

In the picturesque still, the 30-year-old is joined by his two pooches, Coco and Roscoe as they enjoyed some water sports while in Colorado.

He captioned the image, which sees him standing on a board with a stunning view of mountains: '#latergram Paddle boarding with Coco & Roscoe @roscoelovescoco #megazone #colorado'.

Lewis also used the photo-sharing app to ask his fans about the latest car he is considering adding to his fleet.

Posing with a £370,000 Mercedes six-wheeler, he asked: 'So.... Thinking about getting this bad boy. What do you think? #6x6benz #mercedesbenz'.

Meanwhile Hamilton recently paid a visit to notorious ink artist Bang Bang after a picture of Lewis getting his giant eagle neck emblem filled in appeared on his social media page.

It would seem the F1 champion is shaking up his image as the latest etching came after he bleached his hair blonde.  

The caption that accompanied Bang Bang's photo read: 'Tattooed the champ @lewishamilton again last week! Protect ya neck'.

In July, Lewis unveiled his biggest inking, a lion on his left pectoral, which was also completed by Bang Bang, real name Keith McCurdy.

Sharing the latest meaning of the inking, Lewis explained: 'My Eagle represents a visionary. I'm a seeker and i'm willing to push the limits of self-discovery and personal freedom.

'The eagle is a born leader and may become impatient with those who cannot fly as high or as fast. #NewInk @bangbangnyc'.

While Lewis claimed his seventh victory of the season at Monza on Sunday it seems there's not too much going on in his personal life.

Heavily rumoured to be dating Rihanna through most of the summer, Hamilton shut down the claims stating his is just friends with the Pour It Up singer. 

He told E! news: 'You know, I’ve known Ri for a long time. We’ve been friends for a while. We get to hang out every now and again…otherwise, we’re just good friends.'
