She's had her biggest and busiest year yet, juggling music, movies roles and a spot on the X Factor.

And Rita Ora's jam-packed schedule shows no sign of emptying out anytime soon, with the Brit singer spotted heading to the airport in New York on Monday for an early flight to Los Angeles.

The star had been busy performing in the Hamptons for a Labor Day weekend gig, but as her US promo tour continues it was back on the road for the Body On Me singer.

Back on the road: Rita Ora dressed down in ripped jeans and a leather jacket as she left her New York hotel early on Monday to head to the airport

The 24-year-old singer was in an uncharacteristic low-key ensemble for her cross-country flight.

Rita teamed a pair of ripped skinny jeans with a printed t-shirt and black leather jacket as she emerged from her city hotel.

A chic hat and sunglasses hid any sign of tiredness as the star jumped in her car to head to the airport, after her busy weekend.

Writing on Instagram on Sunday, Rita gushed about another successful US gig and her plans for the coming week, telling her fans: 'Thank you Hampton's it was fun. Happy Labour weekend everybody. ✈️back to LA. Kimmel on Tuesday! #excited #BodyOnMe'

The star is in the middle of a mini tour of the US to promote her new single, Body On Me and her forthcoming new album.

Her new role as a judge on the UK's X Factor though, has required the star to fly back and forth between London and the States for filming, with the singer shooting the next stage of auditions for the ITV show back home last week.

Rita still has gigs in Atlanta, Boston and Washington DC over the coming weeks before she heads back to London for the start of the X Factor live shows this autumn.

Talking about her crazy schedule during a chat with KISS FM this week, Rita admitted she's given up a good night's sleep.

'The thing is though, with what we do, I think it comes with a lot of sacrifice and it comes with a lot of knowing that, you know what, I'm not gonna sleep,' she explained.

'I take on a lot of things, and sometimes my team look at me and say, you know what? That's actually physically impossible to fly from there to there in under eight hours. I'm like, "no it's not, get me there now". If you want this world, you've got to work at it.'

She also admitted teaming up with US star Chris Brown for her new single Body On Me was a dream come true, teasing that the steamy video scenes 'weren't hard' to film. 'I think any female, depending on your taste, would vouch for me when I say it was an extremely eventful day. I'm only saying that because he's so, so easy to work with... I've always looked at Chris as someone that takes charge and control of his own destiny,' she gushed.
