Not so Desperate! Nicollette Sheridan looks relaxed in casual white outfit as she dines alfresco with her boyfriend and dog

Nicollette Sheridan looked relaxed and happy when spotted out with her boyfriend and her dog on Sunday.

The 51-year-old former Desperate Housewives star stuck with casual clothing for an outdoor meal at The Six Restaurant in Calabasas, California.

Boyfriend Aaron Phypers and faithful pooch Oliver seemed to be enjoying the night as much as their leading lady.

Her long, blonde hair worn loose and straight down her back, Nicollette wore sunglasses on a natural-looking face.

For a shirt, the long-time TV star wore a simple, white tank top that matched her knee-length white shorts.

A lightweight, grey sweatshirt tied around her waist, Nicollette finished off her outfit with beige Ugg boots and a Louis Vuitton bag.

Aaron, who has been linked to Nicollette since at least December 2014, opted for the denim look with a shirt that matched his blue jeans.

Stay snug with UGG

Although some people dress to the nines to walk the streets of LA, us normal folk like to keep things cosy in a pair of sn-UGG footwear to protect our tootsies and we reckon Nicolette Sheridan had the same idea.

The blonde haired beauty looked super cozy in her white jeans and tank ensemble with her sweater tied at the waist and practical UGG boots, which she wore folded over. We're never one to blame a person for choosing comfort over a pair of stilettos!

Although they’ve divided the fash pack for many a year, UGG boots will never go out of style and they’ve pretty much been ingrained into a woman’s expected everyday wardrobe. Nic's exact pair aren't available but can buy similar by clicking right.

The actress's golden retriever Oliver, who has lived with Nicollette since 2013, also came along for the outing.

Nicollette's career has quieted over the past few years - her most recent on-screen appearance was in 2014's Let's Kill Ward's Wife.

Before that, however, Nicollette gained widespread fame for playing Edie Britt on Desperate Housewives between 2004 and 2009.

She was nominated for a Golden Globe Award in the role, but Nicollette still left on a negative note after her character was killed off.

In 2010, Nicollette filed a $20 million lawsuit against Marc Cherry, the creator of Desperate Housewives, and against ABC - she alleged assault against Marc and wrongful termination against the network.

Her claims against Marc were thrown out by a judge in 2011, but the case against ABC proceeded in 2012 and ended in a mistrial.

Judges eventually determined that Nicollette would not be allowed to continue her lawsuit against ABC.
