]]>Couples Date Night Game
Who is the better driver? Who initiated your first kiss? Find out what your spouse really thinks in this hilarious group date night game!
Find out how much you really know about your SOUL-mate with this silly date night game! Inspired by a unique game that Diva Courtney saw a bride and groom play at their wedding reception - we have converted this fun idea into a couples date night game!
Start by inviting your favorite couples with this seriously awesome shoe invitation! I mean, how cool is this?! I love this yellow bakers twine, too! Our brilliant Diva Designer Crystal Nale from A Well Feathered Nest is the brains behind this creation. She created all of these amazing printables. I am totally in love with her work!
The inside of the shoe has a brief explanation of the game and has a place for you write all the details of the event! You can then use baker's twine of even real shoelaces to tie up your invitation so it is ready for delivery! What a fun way to set the tone for this couples date night!
Here is How to Play:
Once you have all your couples gathered, have each couple sit with their chairs back-to-back. Then, have them remove their shoes and give one to their partner so that they are holding one of their own shoe, plus their partner's shoe.
Next, a designated person will choose one of over 30 questions from our question bank! Questions range from Who spends more time on their phone? to If both of you were contestants on the game show JEOPARDY, who would have the higher score?
Then, the couple will hold up the shoe of the person who they think best fits the answer to the question. So - who has the craziest family? If you think you do - raise your own shoe and if your spouse agrees they will hold up your shoe too!
If the couple both put up the same shoe - they get a point! You can use our fun printable scorecard to keep track of the points!
You can repeat the questions for as long as you want! You can play to a certain point value or just play until your sides can't take it any longer from laughing!
Fun, right? You can get all these printables that Crystal created here to start your couples date night game right away! Just make sure to stop by A Well Feathered Nest to give a big thank you to Crystal and see what else she has!

]]>Spice Up Your Bedroom with Sexy Songs!
Spicing up the bedroom is a great way to keep marriage fresh, and our sexy playlist printables will guide you through a steamy night of rhythmic proportions {Wink}!
The Printables
Can we just take a minute to talk about how gorgeous and clever these printables are?! They are brought to you by none other than the extremely talented, Crystal Nale! She will take your vision to the next level, so be sure to check out her site!
Preparation
To prepare for your sexy playlist night of passion, you'll need your free printables, some decorative string, and adhesive.
Print and cut-out your sexy playlist printables, and then grab the invitation pieces. First, fold the envelope so the geometric pattern is on the back and the front has the two colored, triangular flaps meeting in the middle. Open the flaps, and glue the filled-out invitation card to the blank space. When it's dried, place the lingerie insert inside the envelope, and close the flaps. Once the envelope is secured with your decorative string, it looks like a sweet and innocent heart is awaiting your spouse...
BUT opening the invitation will let your spouse know that a sexy night of marital intimacy is in store...
Give your spouse the invitation, and that's it! We've planned the rest of the night for you. All you have to do is freshen up, slip into something comfortable, and grab your computer or music collection so you can listen to your sexy playlist.
Date Night
The first part of your sexy playlist tryst is to grab the Songs of Inspiration for Him and for Her printables. (Hubby will write down on the list "for Him" and wifey on "for Her".) As you look through your music collection or search the internet, write down songs that you'd really like to...ahem...listen to during marital intimacy. These should be songs that really get you in the mood. Guaranteed that while you are listening to sexy songs, you'll start start thinking amorously about your spouse!
*Tip* You may want to divide your lists into different sections - slow jams, up-tempo, etc.- for easy reference later!
Once you both feel good about your lists, grab Our Private Playlist printable and compile a sexy playlist of songs you both like. (Don't worry if your spouse is turned-off by some of your picks or vice versa - they will come into play later!) Then, you can organize that list into any order you'd like by creating a playlist on iTunes, YouTube, or Grooveshark, and you are ready to dim the lights, start listening, and...see where the rhythm takes you! If you're feeling especially adventurous, one of you might even try a striptease or lap dance!
Save the Sexy Playlists!
Obviously you'll want to hold onto the Private Playlist printable for future bedroom play, but don't toss the Songs of Inspiration printables! Instead, exchange them! Now, whenever you'd like to romance your spouse, you have a list of songs that turn him or her on - perfect for spouses who have higher sex drives than their partner!
So, what are you waiting for?! Grab your
and have a night to remember!

]]>Kids Take Over The Kitchen Day!
Did you know that September 13th is Kids Take Over The Kitchen Day!? That sounds like a great creative family date idea to us! SOO... we've put together everything you need to have your own Kids Take Over the Kitchen Day Family Date! {Gosh, you're totally welcome!}
This little apron was a perfect surprise for my little chefs! Plus - it was SO easy to make. Picked up some Fabric Iron-On Transfer Paper and a few Small White Aprons. I printed out the flipped design on to transfer paper and ironed it on to the apron. Done!! Really - it was so easy and I couldn't be more happy about the way they turned out!
A few days before our family date we sat down together and planned the menu and the shopping list. Some of the items we had and some we didn't. I dumped all three kids into one shopping cart and off we went with their shopping list. Some call me crazy - some call me mom! :)
Here is the little invitation I gave to the kids to introduce the idea. Most of my little ones can't read very well yet, so I gave it to them at bed time and we read all about it. {That's a picture of the yummy smoothie they made for dessert. Pretty darn good, guys!}
Time to Cook
They LOVED picking out the menu and making dinner! As you can imagine all of the dinner items were very kid friendly! We feasted on chips & salsa, quesadillas and blueberry smoothies. I added the green pepper to my plate just so I could feel good about myself. :)
This is what happens when your 2 year old doesn't put the top of the blender on tight and smoothie goes all over the kitchen. Cautionary tale. Don't worry, he recovered quickly and started licking smoothie off the counter. Yummy!!
We had a blast! The kids loved being in charge and making all of the choices. My husband and I loved seeing them work together. All in all - a GREAT family date night! Now it's your turn!
