Much to the delight of fans, The Real Housewives Of Cheshire - the programme that follows six WAGs from a county famous for footballers and excess - returns for season two tonight.

While duck herding and Sweetie the rabbit's first birthday party were stand-out moment from series one, the cast promise even more glamour and hilarity.

Expect to see the girls sunning themselves in Portugal and vamping up for the Polo.

FEMAIL caught up with Cheshire's glossy posse to get all of the inside gossip ahead of the launch.

Last series fans saw mother-of-three Tanya Bardsley try out the Kim Kardashian-approved vampire facial. This season she's turning her face into a pin cushion.

'I'm up for anything,' the 33-year-old told FEMAIL. 'In this series I had 24 acupuncture needles all over my face.

'It’s supposed to trick your face into thinking it has been attacked and repair itself.

'In China they said it gets your Chi flowing. I thought my Chi was flowing for a few weeks.'

Although he doesn't mind her experimenting with weird and wonderful beauty treatments, Tanya's husband, Stoke City footballer, Phil Bardsley has put her on a surgery ban.

'I’m not allowed any more Botox or filler as I’m starting to look like Jackie Stallone,' she said.

Following the success of the show, the former FHM stunner admits she's 'gutted' the lads' magazines haven't offered her modelling work.

'They can do all sorts of airbrushing these days, too,' she joked. 'I thought for old times sake someone might have come in and felt a bit sorry for me. No, nothing!'

While Tanya 'can't wait' for the 'explosive' second series, she said the girls aren't as glam off screen as they are on it.

'I haven’t got time to be under that type of pressure,' she said. 'I’ve got three kids, one in nursery and two at school. In the morning I have no time to worry. I'm sure the teachers think a different person drops them off to picks them up.'

Tanya - who has her own hairdresser and makeup artist - added that the show's celebrity fans include TOWIE's Chloe Sims and Cheshire resident Paddy McGuinness.

MAGALI GORRE

'I'm not looking forward to seeing some of the girls - but I'm closer to Ampika and Lauren'

She found herself at the centre of countless tiffs last series and the cat fights don't appear to show any sign of abating in season two.

Magali Gorre said she has grown close to Ampika Pickston and Lauren Simon

Speaking about the arguments, the oldest member of the cast Magali Gorre, 48, told FEMAIL: 'I’m not looking forward to seeing some of the girls again as I thought back to last series and the playing games. The fights definitely continue.'

However the mother-of-three has grown close to 'Ampika and Lauren' who she described as 'real girls': 'Even though we have problems with each other they lift me up and I lift them up hopefully.

'We learn from each other. You can be different but still respect the woman and that’s why I get on with them a lot.'

Magali said her ex-footballer and coach husband Dean has supported her throughout the dramas - even when she considered quitting the show.

'You couldn't do it if you didn’t have people supporting you,' she said.

'I did want to leave at one point but then I thought if I do people will never get to see the real me. I’m not the friendliest person on earth but one thing you can never say is that I lied or manipulated people.'

In contrast to some of the other women on the show, Magali said she prefers to channel the 'natural' look.

'Cheshire looks a bit plastic fantastic but I don’t want to be part of that,' she said. 'But we want to look good in Cheshire so we take our time over it. You can't have chipped nails.'

And she even glams up her dog Lulu with a pearl necklace: 'It’s not real pearl! Of course I’m not going to buy real pearls for Lulu. She’s a dog. She does wear a lot of bling bling though.'

DAWN WARD

'My favourite champagne? It's a bottle of Sainsbury's pink fizz for £10'

Having famously said she can sniff the difference between Prosecco and champagne in an instant, Dawn Ward has revealed that her top tipple is actually a budget-friendly supermarket find.

'My favourite champagne is Sainsbury’s own rosé stuff for £10,' the 41-year-old told FEMAIL.

'I love Laurent Perrier Rosé but for £10 it’s a bargain.

'I still wouldn’t drink Prosecco, I don’t like it. If you give me a glass, before it reaches my lips I’ll know what it is and I won’t drink it.'

The Liz Hurley lookalike, who is married to former Manchester City star Ashley Ward, has been supported throughout the first series by famous pals including Kym Marsh and Coleen Rooney.

'They've watched every episode,' the interior designer said.

'Kym is a really, really close friend of mine and has been really supportive.

'She’s got mad with me though and said, "Why aren’t you fighting back more?".

'She sees certain things and knows I'm not like that.'

Mother-of-four Dawn said she'd rather 'stick pins in my eyes' than get caught up in the drama - something that is unavoidable this series.

'I’m not into arguing, life is too short,' she said.

'If I have something to say I get it off my chest and it’s finished.

'But there's a lot more substance to the arguments this time.

'There are things that happened in series one that I chose not to bring on camera that I have now.

'The dynamics have changed.'

LAUREN SIMON

'You'll see my husband Paul a lot more this series - we're a double act'

Outspoken businessman Paul Simon became an integral part of the first season after being at the centre of many of the spats that kicked off over a few glasses of champagne.

Mother-of-two Lauren said you won't get rid of her husband - the only one in the show that isn't a footballer - that easily and he'll be making a bigger impact in the second series.

'You’ll see us together a lot more as he said he actually enjoys being in the show,' she told FEMAIL.

'It’s a funny one because last year he didn’t want to do it, and then he did it.

'That upset me. This time he wants to do. We have fun together and we’re a double act.'

The 42-year-old, whose first birthday party for her rabbit Sweetie was one of the highlights of season one, said she's 'worried' about the 'rubbish' that's going to come out of her mouth in season two.

'I have to have a quick glass of champagne before watching,' she said.

'It’s quite weird as it’s like living your life again, all the emotions and the feelings. It’s always a tough pill to take.'

Lauren, who is pals with Simon Cowell, added that she 'hates' the feel of makeup but has to wear it on the show and usually 'pinches' Dawn's.

This season she revealed that fans will see her head off to Portugal to surprise Paul and the girls.

AMPIKA PICKSTON

'I've kicked the mystery man to the kerb and I'm ready to mingle!'

Having divorced multi-millionaire businessman Mark Pickston, 32-year-old Ampika teased fans last series with hints of a 'mystery man'.

This season she's ditched her unknown fella and is out on the prowl with her wing-woman Lauren.

'I've kicked the mystery man to the kerb and I’ve decided that ultimately I have got to be out and about and ready to mingle,' she told FEMAIL.

'Lauren will just go and approach anyone, she's a great icebreaker.'

Having previously said she'd only date 'rich men', mother-of-one Ampika has done a U-turn, revealing: 'I would date anyone if I thought they were the right person for me.

'Sadly, when you’re a singleton and you have a very lavish lifestyle, you’re worried whether someone you meet likes you for you or all the trimmings and trappings you offer.

'I have a rule that you either have to have the same as me or more than me so I know your feelings are genuine.'

Ampika admits she's a 'very sexual creature' and says men find her 'extremely intimidating'.

Following the first season the beauty salon owner, who recently spent £8,000 on two Louis Vuitton handbags as she was feeling 'a bit down in the dumps', was the victim of a stalker.

She has since hired a security team who monitor her business and house 24 hours a day and changed her phone numbers, admitting: 'It was quite freakish really when it all happened but it’s part and parcel of being a public figure.

'The wonderful comments you get, you will also get some pranks.'

LEANNE BROWN

'If the first series has taught me anything it’s to be a bit more vocal about my feelings'

Don't expect Leanne Brown to be all shy and retiring this series

Don't expect Leanne Brown to be all shy and retiring - this series she's going to be showing off her feisty side.

The 38-year-old, who is married to Sunderland footballer Wes Brown, told FEMAIL: 'If the first series has taught me anything it’s to be a bit more vocal about my feelings.

'I think I was a bit guarded and worried about hurting people’s feelings. This time I haven't held back.'

Mother-of-three Leanne - whose wedding was attended by Coleen and Wayne Rooney - admitted that she's felt under pressure to look constantly made up since appearing on TV.

'I definitely don’t leave the house without my eyes on,' she said. 'I’ve got quite small eyes and in the morning it’s not a pretty sight. I don’t leave the house without a little bit of makeup.'

Leanne spends 'about £100' a month on pampering herself.

'I have my nails done every two weeks. I hate blow drying my own hair, I can never get it as good,' she said. 'I like a big, bouncy blow. I get that done once a week.'
