Ahoy there! Diane Kruger flashes her toned torso in crop top and high-waisted trousers as she steps out in Venice during the Film Festival

She's been enjoying the sunshine in the Italian city over the last few days.

And Diane Kruger proved she's still got her summer style on point as she emerged for another day in Venice on Monday, in the midst of the 72nd annual Venice Film Festival.

The 39-year-old actress kept relatively covered up, with just a hint of her toned and tiny torso on show, as she stepped off a boat while waving happily to onlookers nearby.

The blonde bombshell, who is known for her impeccable and often feminine style, kept it on the androgynous side of things for the day, teaming a cropped black t-shirt with a pair of high-waisted navy trousers.

The wide leg design of the bottoms only accentuated her svelte figure, as did the high-cut waistline.

Diane added simple accessories to her off-duty look, wearing a black baker boy-style hat over her blonde tresses which were tied back into a low ponytail, and funky white-rimmed shades.

This year Diane is one of the famous faces sitting on the official Venezia 72 Competition Jury, along with the likes of Elizabeth Banks and Gravity director Alfonso Cuarón, who is acting as the President of the Jury.

Earlier in the festival, on Friday night, she looked utterly sensational as she graced the red carpet at the premiere of Johnny Depp's new film Black Mass alongside her long-term boyfriend Joshua Jackson.

The German beauty had seriously impressed in a red velvet number, the exquisite dress finished with an elegant bow at the middle, which stretched out behind her in place of a long and traditional train.

And in recent days the actress has been wowing with her laid-back but still eye-catching casual ensembles while stepping out in the picturesque Italian city.

On Saturday, she stopped to sign autographs for a fan while dressing for comfort in her pretty day wear - floral trousers and a striped vest top - adding to her chic ensemble with a black cap and large pair of sunglasses.

The festival runs until 12 September this year and will review such films as Everest and The Danish Girl.

The competition will feature 21 films, including hotly-anticipated roles by Johnny Depp, Eddie Redmayne, Keira Knightley, Kristen Stewart and Nicholas Hoult.
