No heavy lifting needed! Mickey Rourke, 62, puts his bulging pecs and biceps on display in a super tight T-shirt as he jets out of New York

It is easy to pack light when all you need is tiny tees.

Mickey Rourke skipped check-in luggage in favour of putting on a muscular display at JFK airport in New York on Sunday night.

The 62-year-old showed up men half his age as he rocked up to the airport in two very tight T-shirts.

While normally his ever changing face gets all the attention, The Wrestler star's body was stealing its fair share of second glances.

All the star's hard work in the gym was evident as both his arms and pecks caused his grey V-neck T-shirt to appear strained under the pressure of keeping his muscles covered.

Ensuring he was warm but did not have to conceal his gun show, Mickey added a longer sleeve - but equally tight - lighter grey T-shirt underneath.

Added extra: Of course, a Mickey Rourke ensemble would not be a Mickey Rourke ensemble without some rather left of centre fashion choices, so the star also added a pair of rather unusual white lace-up boots

Tucking top tops into his dark jeans, the actor further celebrated his physique with a big belt around his toned waist.

The star kept his long straightened and highlighted locks pulled back and hidden under a red baseball hat as well.

Deciding against check-in luggage, the actor juggled two pieces of carry-on instead, a messenger bag and an overstuffed Louis Vuitton man's clutch - and a bag of food.

While Mickey's gym efforts - and the efforts of his plastic surgeon - have ensured he is looking much younger than his years, in his new movie out later this month, the star is playing an 'old person'.

Mickey stars in Ashby as reclusive CIA agent who finds himself coming out of his retirement shell after his neighbour Ed Wallis (played by Nat Wolff) befriends him as part of a school project to interview an 'old person'.

Their friendship helps new kid Ed to find his way while encouraging Mickey's character, Ashby Holt, to finish his life's work.

Ashby also stars Sarah Silverman and Emma Roberts and is out September 25.
