The Lord Of The Rings star let his rugged curls hang a little longer than usual, and looked delighted to be in Normandy interacting with fans and signing autographs.
He covered his eyes against the bright sunshine for a time in mirrored wayfarer-style sunglasses, before showing off his brown peepers, and no doubt leaving fans wondering how he can possibly still be single.

Orlando was being honoured on the first weekend of the festival with a tribute to his prestigious movie career, and unveiled their version of a Walk of Fame star - a beach locker room dedicated to him - on the Promenade des Planches in the sea-side resort.
The British actor received the tribute for his work in the movie Zulu, in which the festival's website praises his performance.
