Mel B goes from Scary to Sporty Spice as she arrives at LAX airport in her workout gear along with hubby Stephen Belafonte

In her Spice Girls heyday she went by the name of Scary.

But Mel B, 40, had totally ripped off her good friend and former bandmate Sporty Spice when she arrived at LAX airport in Los Angeles on Monday.

Just like Melanie C in the nineties, the Wannabe hit-maker was dressed for optimum comfort in her pink and black sportswear as she made her way to departures flanked by her husband Stephen Belafonte.

She showed off her plunging cleavage in a hot pink sports bra which she wore layered beneath a black long-length vest top.

The former X Factor UK judge paraded her toned, shapely legs in cropped black leggings and rounded off her comfy outfit with pink trainers and black ankle socks.

She wore her glossy brunette locks scraped back into a high ponytail and accessorised her laid-back look with dark sunglasses.

Carrying her travel essentials in a black leather shoulder bag, the mum-of-three held on to the strap as she made her way into the airport, flashing her sparkly wedding rings as she did so.

She diverted from her perfectly coordinated pink and black outfit with a royal blue nail varnish.

Stephen was equally casual in a black T-shirt, jogging bottoms and trainers.  

Their flight comes after she and her daughters spent their Saturday night watching the 1997 classic Spice World: The Movie.

Along with four images of her daughters with their eyes fixed on the television at various points in the film, Mel B wrote: 'It's a Saturday thing #spicemovie.'

Mel is currently waiting got hear whether she is going to be asked back for the 11th series of America's Got Talent.

Auditions will take place from November 2015 to February 2016, when the series will tour 12 US cities on the hunt for undiscovered entertainers of all ages and species, but the judging line-up is still to be confirmed.

There is no word yet on whether her fellow judges Howie Mandel and Heidi Klum will return either following Howard Stern's exit.
