And now the life and times of the Australian five-times world champion is set to become the focus of a documentary to be filmed by Johnny Depp.

It was close pal Mick who spoke on behalf of the actor revealing he found it humorous that he could face jail or fines if found guilty of illegally smuggling his terriers Pistol and Boo into Australia where he had been filming Pirates Of The Caribbean 5.

'To be honest I think he thinks it’s quite humorous,' he told The Courier Mail. 'He’s a humorous type of guy, I think he’s just disappointed about how it's been relentless.'

The Golden Globe-winning star has been told that on November 2 the case into his pooches, said to have been brought into Australia illegally on his private jet, will be heard with a hearing scheduled at Queensland's Gold Coast.
