Budding fashionista North West is taking on her parents' sense of style.

Tiny North West looked adorable as she and reality star mother Kim Kardashian, 34, stepped out in New York City on Monday, with the two-year-old dressed like her rapper dad Kanye West.

North wore a thick gold chain, large grey top, tight black pants rolled up at the cuffs and black Doc Martin boots, and later shared a giggle and a cute kiss with her mom before hitting Toys 'R' Us.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, who is pregnant with her second child, kept a close watch on her daughter as they exited a building in Manhattan.

The fashionable pair shared a tender kiss during their busy day.

Playful North pressed her face into a glass door and pulled silly faces, prompting Kim to crouch down and try to stop her from licking the glass.

Kim was clearly amused by the toddler's antics, flashing a smile as North giggled.

The reality star puckered up and North promptly leaned in for a sweet kiss.

While North was dressed like Kanye, Kim showed off her own pregnancy style in the 90-degree heat.

The pregnant reality star covered her baby bump in a Tshirt, which she paired with distressed skinny jeans.

She threw on a long black coat which featured over-sized gold details on the lapel.

Even Kim Kardashian has dressed-down days.

Throughout her pregnancy the reality television starlet may have been embracing a high glamour look of bodycon dresses and heels, but she has finally taken it down a notch and embraced a pair of comfortable jeans. The high heels stayed of course...

And this is how we like Kim. A bit more natural with less fuss and fewer adornments. The simple gray tee and winter coat are perfect for the coming season and of course who can fault a pair of skinny black jeans?

Kim and North were also spotted shopping at the Times Square Toys 'R' Us, where the toddler was treated to dozens of new toys.

The two-year-old quickly latched on to a cute plush My Little Pony toy, which she held tightly as she rested in Kim's arm.

North also seemed interested in the Bratz dolls, leaning in for a better look and then listening closely as Kim pointed out her options.

The reality star held her daughter close as they also checked out a Star Wars display, and the range of dolls.

North quickly found a new favorite toy, hugging a blue stuffed My Little Pony close as she studied the dolls on offer.

Kim helped her make a decision, chatting to her as the toddler leaned in close to better examine a Yasmin Bratz doll.

North seemed exhausted by the many options as she rested in her mom's arms, gesturing and chatting to an onlooker as an amused Kim listened.

Kim wore simple black, strappy heels as she carried Nori out of the building, carefully placing her daughter on the ground.

As usual, the reality star's make-up was flawless as she played up her eyes with heavy eye shadow and dark lashes.

The mother-daughter pair wore matching hairstyles, with Kim pushing her hair off her face in a messy top-knot.

The toddler looked less than impressed as they headed out, furrowing her brow and frowning as her mom appeared to be soothing her as they exited.

After leaving the building, Kim and North headed out into the city, including a fun stop at the huge toy store.

Protective mom kept a close watch on her daughter, holding her hand and leading her down the sidewalk as they left their building.

She kept close to North and continued to hold her hand as they stepped onto a busy New York street.

Kim kept her daughter entertained with a pink toy and lollipops, with North clutching her new treats as her famous mother lead the way to the curb.

Later, cheeky toddler pulled a goofy face as she pressed her lips onto a glass door.

The toddler flashed her bottom teeth as she squashed her lips and nose into the glass as she peered outside.

North held onto Kim's hand and grasped what appeared to be a pink Little Mermaid Pez candy dispenser as she pulled the silly face.

It's no wonder the toddler is taking a page out of her famous father's fashion playbook.

The rapper-turned-fashion designer was recently named one of the most stylish men in the world by men's style bible GQ.

The All Day artist is often seen in monochrome, boxy tops and sweaters, and has rapped about how he was shunned for his early love of skinny jeans.

Earlier on Monday, West stepped out wearing a Tshirt emblazoned with the image of iconic artist Jean-Michel Basquiat, who he's mentioned in a few of his songs.
