Batman and Mamma Mia lift movie chain Cineworld
Movie chain Cineworld today shrugged off the consumer downturn and delivered a blockbuster performance.
Film lovers flocking to see Mamma Mia and the latest Batman flick The Dark Knight sent box-office takings soaring 3.9 per cent in the 43 weeks to 23 October, while total revenues were up 2.2 per cent.
