Knocking the stuffing out of each other! The Ladies Of London have a showdown over Thanksgiving dinner on season premiere

Thanksgiving is supposed to be all about gratitude and sharing goodwill.

Sadly this is definitely not the case when the Ladies of London are concerned.

Caroline Stanbury was in her element on the season premiere  on Monday night – as two American women fought for her favour.

The ‘British It Girl,’ a former flame of Prince Andrew, was delighted when brassy PR executive Juliet Angus began to feud with Marissa Hermer, the American wife of a wealthy British restaurateur and club-owner.

The two U.K imports were tussling over who should hold the annual gathering and feast.

Marissa Hermer hoped to hold Thanksgiving celebrations once again at her restaurant, however, Juliet Angus went behind her back to ask Caroline Stanbury to host at her opulent Surrey home.

'Marissa thinks of herself as Queen Host, but London can smell a social climber a mile away. It reeks of desperation' said the icy entrepreneur.

Juliet, 38, from Chicago, was upset that Marissa had ‘hijacked’ Thanksgiving and she welled up while discussing it with Caroline.

Caroline, professing to be ‘a sucker for tears', told her they could have it at her house as she wanted - and later confessed ‘I kind of enjoy that they are fighting over me.’

Marissa, a California girl, was extremely offended.

‘I do Thanksgiving every single year, no one is going to take that away from me,’ said Marissa.

‘I don’t think Juliet is aware of all the friendships she’s annihilating as she climbs further up Caroline’s as*,’ she griped.

Caroline S - who admitted she doesn't 'even know what Thanksgiving is' - has battled with Marissa in the past, calling her a ‘Betty homemaker’ and ‘social climber’ and at her cocktail party, tensions bubbled up once more.

'Is this where I give you your sainthood again?' Juliet snapped at Marissa, 'Where you're just perfect and you're amazing and I'm so terrible?'

Marissa and Juliet later started yelling at each other which thrilled the businesswoman host, who used to date Hugh Grant.

It prompted her to comment: ‘Marissa thinks she is Martha f***king Stewart without the jail sentence.’

‘They’re two very emotional Americans…but I kind of enjoy that they are fighting over me, is that sick?’ asked Caroline with a smile.

Marissa said she was offended that Juliet had ‘traded up’ for the event.

‘I might be skinnier and blonder but it’s definitely not trading up, I can’t even cook,’ said Caroline.

Marissa described her friendship with Juliette as ‘a roller-coaster’.

‘Right now I want to get off,’ she declared.

Marissa had been gloating about her life with her restaurateur husband Matt.

‘My life right now is amazing,’ she boasted.

‘Mother, wife, restaurant owner,’ she beamed, while noting that she had ‘earned’ her way onto the high-society guest list, rather than being born into aristocracy.

The new cast member - another Caroline - Fleming - came under fire from Caroline S too.

She described the Denmark's Next Top Model host in less than flattering terms as a 'MILF' and 'wild child'.

The Danish beauty, 39, was also married to Rory Fleming, a banking heir and nephew of James Bond creator Ian Fleming.

She reportedly won about £400 million in her divorce from Fleming.

Caroline S also judged Juliet's flash London property causing the star to defend herself for having ONLY a three million pound home.

Juliet had recently downsized to Clapham – the other end of the world in Caroline’s eyes.

‘It’s like moving from Manhattan to Jersey, I mean come on,’ she complained.

'Our house is still worth three million pounds!' Juliet told the cameras, before adding, 'Which is a five million dollar house. It's just not a 15 million pound home. We're, like, super well-off when we live in America, and here, it's like they s— money'.

The show had opened with Queen Bee Caroline S, who was hassling the staff in her two businesses.

‘I think England may have the perception that because I come from old money I should be barefoot and pregnant and wearing Marks and Spencer,’ she said.

‘But, the need to work, it’s inbred in me, and it’s not enough to be somebody’s wife,’ she added.

‘These probably should have been balls not boobs,’ she continued, gesturing to her chest.

The peacemaker of the group, Annabelle Neilson, was recovering from the broken spine and pelvis she sustained during a near-fatal riding accident.

The brunette, who was Alexander McQueen's muse, arrived at the Mapperton Estate, one of the finest manor houses in England with her friend Julie Montagu.

Julie is married to Luke Montagu, who is heir to the vast estate and will one day become the Earl of Sandwich.

‘I am living the Cinderella life,’ said Julie, who has been promoted to a main cast member this season.

‘I’m not the English rose that everyone would have expected my husband to marry,’ she said.

Despite ‘having a title’ Julie was overwhelmed with taking care of four kids, alone in Battersea while her husband attends to the estate.

‘I don’t have staff, I live in the smallest house compared to all the ladies,’ she moaned.

While she struggles Caroline has an entourage of nannies, drivers and PAs.

‘I just waft downstairs for the party,’ she giggled.
