And on Monday Adam Sandler showed off his comical personality as he sported a grin while donning a large, straw hat as he visited the Kiwanis Chili Cook-Off And Fair in Malibu, California.

The 48-year-old was joined by his wife Jackie, 40, and their daughters Sadie and Sunny for the Labor Day family outing.

Adam wore a fitted blue, short-sleeved T-shirt, which he coupled with a pair of blue and white striped athletic shorts.

He finished off the look with a pair of black and red sneakers, and at times was seen sporting a giant, straw hat.

His wife, Jackie, also sported a sunhat, though hers was a bit more stylish, and she coupled it with a flowing, bohemian-style purple dress.

She finished off the look with a pair of grey flip flops - which revealed a red pedicure - and carried a black leather purse.

Her long, brunette tresses were styled in loose waves, and she held tightly to her daughter's hands as they walked through the fair.

Sunny wore a white tank top embellished with a colorful print of a cat, coupled with a pair of bright pink shorts.

Before heading to the fair on Monday the girls were spotted holding onto their father's hands as the family grabbed breakfast together in Malibu.

Meanwhile, Backstreet Boys member AJ McLean also took advantage of the holiday by taking his little one to the Malibu event.

He brought his two-year-old daughter Ava along to enjoy the festivities, though his wife Rochelle Karidis was not photographed on the outing.

He coupled those with a pair of distressed, light wash jeans.

He also wore a pair of black and red high-top Nike sneakers, and a coordinating red snapback hat.

He seemed to be in good spirits as he sported a grin and made silly faces, likely in an effort to entertain his daughter.

She sported a green, white, and pink sundress as she hit the fair, along with a pair of brown leather boots.
