Swales ends short reign at Oxford

Title-winning boss Trevor Swales has parted company with new club Oxford after only nine weeks in the job.
Swales, who led Peterborough to the Elite League crown last season, was appointed general manager of both clubs at the end of October after the Panthers' owner Colin Horton bought the Cheetahs.
But Swales has now stood down at Sandy Lane and Oxford co-promoter Aaron Lanney said: "It has been decided that Trevor will now cease his involvement with Oxford and will now concentrate his efforts on maintaining the wonderful success achieved at Peterborough."
