A little bit of bloating is a fact of life for pregnant women.

But despite her increasingly swollen feet, Kim Kardashian - who is six months pregnant with her second child - isn't ready to hang up her high heels just yet.

The 34-year-old reality star squeezed herself into some uncomfortable looking stilettos on Monday as she took two-year-old daughter North on an outing in New York.

Pregnancy bloat: The reality star's strappy heels looked very uncomfortable for her swollen feet

It can't have been easy for the KUWTK star to navigate the busy Manhattan streets in the strappy heels as she carried her little girl perched on her hip.

The raven-haired TV star also wore a bulky black coat despite the warm temperatures in the Big Apple.

Kim was notoriously slow to give up her heels during her first pregnancy in 2013.

Most notable were a pair of sky-high wedges with thick clear plastic strap which squeezed her engorged feet in a rather unattractive and painful looking manner.

However, just a week or so before giving birth, Kim was spotted wearing some simple black flip-flops, which were no doubt a huge relief to the style-minded star.

Even Kim Kardashian has dressed-down days.

Throughout her pregnancy the reality television starlet may have been embracing a high glamour look of bodycon dresses and heels, but she has finally taken it down a notch and embraced a pair of comfortable jeans. The high heels stayed of course...

And this is how we like Kim. A bit more natural with less fuss and fewer adornments. The simple gray tee and winter coat are perfect for the coming season and of course who can fault a pair of skinny black jeans?

On Monday the doting mom took her trendy tot to Toys R Us in Times Square where the duo were seen perusing the fun things on offer.

Kim wore ripped black skinny jeans and a graphic T-shirt under her long coat.

She pulled her dark tresses into a super tight bun and shaded her eyes with some large sunglasses.

North meanwhile looked was dressed just like her hip-hop star dad Kanye West, wearing a slouchy grey T-shirt, leather trousers and a pair of Dr. Martens.

Earlier in the day Kanye, 38, was seen leaving the couple's apartment to head out on his own solo outing.

The rapper stopped to autograph pairs of his Yeezy Boost trainers for waiting fans.

The night before, 'Kimye' got spruced up to attend the star-studded wedding of music executive Steve Stoute.

Stoute's nuptials at Blue Hill Farm, Tarrytown, were also attended by a variety of A-listers including, Jay Z Beyonce, Lebron James, Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz.
