She's in The Circle! Emma Watson dons black leather as she jets in to LAX to co-star with Tom Hanks in his new sci-fi drama

Well it is Labor Day in the US.

And while that meant time off for some, Emma Watson took the holiday literally, flying into Los Angeles on Monday, ready to start work on Tom Hanks's new movie, The Circle.

The 25-year-old was decked out entirely in black, including a chic biker-style leather jacket over a V-neck T-shirt and skinny jeans tucked into high-rise boots.

The Harry Potter star left her dark blonde tresses free and perched a pair of sunglasses on top of her head.

She didn't appear to be wearing much make-up except some mascara and pink lipstick.

Emma is due to co-star alongside Tom in director-writer James Ponsoldt’s adaptation of Dave Eggers’s bestseller The Circle, Variety reported back in June.

Tom, 59, will also produce the sci-fi drama for his Playtone production company.

The young actress will play a woman hired for a big job in an Internet monopoly called The Circle, which links users’ personal emails, social media, banking and purchasing with its universal operating system.

The novel turns into a contempo thriller about the perils of life in a digital age where personal data is collected, sifted, monetized and used for surveillance, rendering privacy obsolete.

Alicia Vikander had been attached to star in The Circle when the film was being sold at the Cannes Market, during the Film Festival in May but has left the project, according to Variety.

'Emma Watson is one of my favorite actors, and her incredible talent, sensitivity and deep intelligence will bring an electric energy to The Circle,' James said in June.

The beautiful Brit has been busy since Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part II wrapped the blockbuster franchise in 2011.

She has starred in The Perks Of Being A Wallflower, The Bling Ring and Noah, to name a few, and is set to appear in Disney's live-action Beauty And The Beast, due out in 2017

She will next co-star with Ethan Hawke and Harry Potter's David Thewlis in director Alejandro Amenabar's Regression, about a father accused of a crime he has no memory of committing, due out December 31.
