Make a style statement in sequins like Taylor Swift
Well, we can hardly accuse Taylor Swift of not making an effort, can we? Ever the shy and retiring wallflower (!) Ms. Swift made sure all eyes were on her for the VMAs as she posed up a storm in this dazzling sequinned two-piece by Ashish.
It comes as no surprise to us, seeing as Ashish Gupta is nicknamed the 'king of sequins' and is well-known for transforming sportswear with high-octane embellishments.
We love the houndstooth print and opulence of the all-over sequins of these co-ordinates, while the jogger style trousers keep the look young and fun.
And while we're not sure if we have the fashion chops to pull off the whole look, we always have time for a sequinned crop top here at Fashion Finder! Perfect for adding a little dose of festivity to any outfit, a bejeweled top would look fabulous styled with a simple midi skirt and heels.
Feeling suitably inspired? We've lined up some sizzling lookalikes in our edit below to help you get that Taylor glow. Go for a sweatshirt style at Joa or full-on embellishment with this Parker offering.
Cover star: Mark Zuckerberg, who now controls four apps that have at least 300million users each (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Messenger) tops the Disruptors list
'Swift isn't merely the world's favourite popstar, putting up sales numbers that are nearly unfathomable in the post-Napster age - she is also using her platform to make giant companies conform to her will,' Tayloy's entry reads.
'After pulling her catalogue off Spotify last year, Swift wrote an open letter to Apple asking it to pay artists during the free-trial period of its new music service. She posted the note on Tumblr on a Sunday and the company complied within hours.'
She ousted the 21st Century Fox and News Corp family of Rupert, James and Lachlan Murdoch from their 2014 pinnacle to third place.
Below her in the top ten are the likes of basketballer LeBron James, who brought an estimated $215million tourism boost to Cleveland just by joining the Cavaliers; JJ Abrams who's latest Star Trek - not even Wars - film made $467million at the box office; and actual presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton.
Further down the list are power couples Kim and Kanye at 12, and Beyonce and Jay Z at 21.
'The West-Kardashian coupling represents a strong argument in favor of corporate synergy,' the magazine claims. 'West gives Kardashian artistic legitimacy, and the reality star and spokesperson offers her acclaimed yet famously difficult rapper husband something bordering on broad appeal.'
Power couple: Kanye West and wife Kim Kardashian, who represent 'corporate synergy', also made their collective debut on the list at number 12
Falling stars? Beyonce and Jay Z slipped from 2014's ranking of 5th 'after a year filled with rumours about their marriage, and in which Beyonce earned nearly double her husbands income, Jay Z has struggled of late to pull his share in this dynastic power couple'.
Beyonce and Jay Z slipped from 2014's ranking of 5th 'after a year filled with rumours about their marriage, and in which Beyonce earned nearly double her husbands income, Jay Z has struggled of late to pull his share in this dynastic power couple'.
Bradley Cooper also snagged a place at 18 for his 'impressive portfolio as a producer'.
Each year, the magazine publishes a rundown of the 'most important visionaries, investors and cultural leaders', divided into the top 50 'Disruptors' and the top 25 'Power That Be'.
That all? Jessica Alba was down at 36 despite her monumental success with her Honest Company
Rising stars: Amy Schumer is one of the highest debutantes on the Disruptor list at 15, while Bradley Cooper snagged a place at 18 among the Powers That Be for his 'impressive portfolio as a producer'
No joker: Jared Leto ranked 38th,not for his acting or musical skills but his tech savvy investments in Reddit, Uber and Airbnb
Mark Zuckerberg, who now controls four apps that have at least 300million users each (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Messenger) tops the Disruptors list, leaping over Amazon, Google, Apple's controllers and replacing Tesla's Elon Musk at number one.
Amy Schumer is one of the highest debutantes on the list at 15, well ahead of Jessica Alba at 36 despite her monumental success with her Honest Company.
Just two places behind her is Jared Leto, noted not for his acting or musical skills but his tech savvy investments in Reddit, Uber and Airbnb.
New power: Swift ousted the 21st Century Fox and News Corp family of Lachlan Rupert and James Murdoch (L-R) from their 2014 pinnacle to third place
Candidates: She may have only jokingly joined Kanye West's 2020 ballot, but Swift still managed to push actual presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton down into ninth place of the power list
