Ex face-off! Miranda Lambert and estranged husband Blake Shelton will go head-to-head at this year's CMA Awards

The nominations for the annual country night of nights are in and are ensuring it will be quite an interesting evening.

Whether exes Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton are as amicable as they have tried to portray is about to be put to the ultimate test.

The estranged couple - who announced their split in July - have both been nominated in the Musical Event of the Year category at the 49th annual Country Music Association Awards - or the CMAs as they are better known - it was revealed on Wednesday.

Chasse in a ballerina pink chiffon

Anything pale or blush pink is our absolute favorite.

Not only is it super feminine and chic but something about a pale pink chiffon dress makes you look ethereal.

We are in love with the Bibhu Mohapatra pale pink chiffon dress Miranda chose for the CMA Awards.

The dress is from the Spring 2014 collection which translates to: not available.

Don't fret just yet, the dress might not be available but you can check out the Bibhu collection (click right) but if you're ready to do some shopping then why stray?

Take a look at our style carousel below, where we've got pink chiffon picks from BCBG to Yesstyle.com!

We'll be pairing our dress with the Stuart Weitzman 'Nudist' sandal in beige along with a chic box clutch in silver to match our teardrop earrings!

Blake has been nominated for his duet with Ashley Moore, Lonely Tonight, and Miranda for her Smokin' and Drinkin' featuring the Little Big Town.

The category is the only one the pair will be up against each other as Blake's nods are a little bit lighter on the ground then his 31-year-old estranged wife's.

While The Voice star did score a nomination for Male Vocalist of the Year, Miranda has been nominated in four categories.

The biggest of these awards is Entertainer of the Year, where she leads an all-male pack that includes Garth Brooks, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney and Eric Church.

Overall, the singer is just one nomination short from coming out as the most recognised with both Little Big Town and Eric Church receiving five nominations each.

The vocal group's song Girl Crush from their album Pain Killer is to thank for their nods in Vocal Group, Musical Event (with Miranda), Music Video, Song and Single of the Year.

The songwriters for their hit Girl Crush, Liz Rose, Lori McKenna and Hillary Lindsey, also received a nomination as part of the Song of the Year nod.

Eric will be hoping to beat out Miranda for Entertainer of the Year and was also nominated for Male Vocalist, Single, Song and Musical Event of the Year for a duet with Keith Urban.

While she did not make the cut for Entertainer of the Year, Carrie Underwood has scored herself a couple of nods too for Female Vocalist and Music Video of the Year.

She probably does not have time for many awards anyway as she, along with Brad Paisley, will be teaming up once again to host the awards - their eighth consecutive together.

Country music fans will have a few months to wait until they get to see exes Miranda and Blake face-off as well as all the other nominees.

The CMA Awards are on November 4 at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee and the show will air on ABC.

Aerosmith rocker Steven Tyler and up-and-coming country singer Kelsea Ballerini announced the nominees on Good Morning America on Wednesday.

If it ain't broke: Carrie Underwood (seen here at least year's awards) will once again host with Brad Paisley
