She is staying in The Big Apple while she prepares to make her Broadway debut in Chicago in a weeks time.

So it was a perfect opportunity for Rumer Willis to catch some shows at New York Fashion Week on Tuesday.

The Dancing With The Stars champion sat front row at the Zac Posen Spring Summer 2016 show at Industria Studios.

Fashionistas unite: Rumer Willis had prime seats at the Zac Posen Spring Summer show on Tuesday

The daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore wore a black collared Posen dress with loafers and carried a black and white clutch.

Her jet black locks were styled smoothly with a neat side-sweeping fringe.

Rumer perched next to stylist June Ambrose who wore a pomegranate patterned dress and pink pom-pom shoes.

Keeping it simple: The 27-year-old star wore a black shirt dress for the occasion

Fashion Month has officially started. And June Ambrose kicked off the festivities at Zac Posen's Spring 2016 showing.

The stylist to the stars had a front row vantage point, along with Rumer Willis, and donned a demure printed frock by the American designer and a pair of Brian Atwood pumps.

The playful pink heels were adorned with a giant green pom pom which really makes these beauties stand out. We love June's color coordinated ensemble, or wear them with an LBD to really make the stilettos pop.

Designer Posen teamed up with Google's project Made With Code to inspire young women to learn about computer science.

Coco Rocha - who gave birth six months ago - modeled one of the lit-up creations demonstrating how fashion can be designed with code.

The black nylon mesh dress - which she twirled in to show-off the tiny lights - was embedded with more than 500 programmable LED lights which were coded by teen girls across the nation.

Made With Code is a one-year-old program with the goal to inspire the next generation of female coders.

Rumer is finally recovering from her foot injury which saw her cancel much of her DWTS Live tour this summer.

Rumer suffered the stress fractures on her foot while on the Dancing With The Stars Live! Perfect Ten tour in June.

As a result, her Broadway debut in Chicago was pushed back a month, to September 14.

She shared a happy snap on Instagram on Monday to announce she's ready to dance again.

Rumer is taking on the role of Roxie Hart for a seven-week engagement ending November 1.
