By her own admission, she's extremely competitive but Kim Zolciak wasn't quite prepared for what her pro partner Tony Dovolani wanted her to do on their first day of rehearsals for ABC's Dancing With The Stars.

The blonde reality star, 37, was all revved up and raring to go until Dovolani began to push her down towards the floor to do the splits.

'Oh my God, no!' she said as she bent her back leg to stop him pushing her down further.

It was a move too far for the Don't Be Tardy star who's one of 13 contestants on season 21 of the popular ABC show.

She was happy though to do a high leg kick as she fell backwards into the pro dancer's arms at the end of a short promotional video released Tuesday.

At the start of the one-minute preview, Dovolani was seen visiting with Zolciak at her home.

There she goes: Zolciak fell backwards into his arms with a high kick

The professional ballroom dancer, who's 42, asked her if she's competitive.

'I'm very competitive,' she responded. 'More so than my husband who's a professional athlete.'

Zolciak is married to Atlanta Falcons football player Kroy Biermann whom she met at a charity event Dancing With The Atlanta Stars in 2010.

Busy life: Zolciak, who found fame on Bravo's The Real Housewives Of Atlanta, was seen at the start of the newly-released promotional video for the show at home with her kids

High energy family: While Dovolani and Zolciak chatted, her two eldest sons with Atlanta Falcons football player Kroy Biermann - Kroy Jr. and Kash - ran around playing with toy lightsabers

Then, as her young sons Kroy Jr and Kash ran around fighting with toy lightsabers, she asked Dovolani when his birthday was.

Hearing it's July 17, she correctly deduced that his astrological sign is cancer while hers is Taurus.

The video then cuts to a dance studio where the two prepare to rehearse.

The mom of six is in black workout gear and pink and black trainers and starts by trying to loosen up her body.

'My butt jiggles so much,' she laughs nervously.

Just a few days ago, the former Real Housewives Of Atlanta star posted a photo on her Instagram account showing her legs strapped into compression boots.

'My legs are sooo sore,' she wrote alongside the selfie. 'My amazing hubby hooked me up with his compression boots it's like someone is squeezing the livin s**t outta my legs!!!'

She added: 'Ohhh @tonydovolani #DWTS #DancingIsNoJoke #ShakingItIsHardWork #SoFunThough'

Therapy: The 37-year-old confessed on Instagram last week that her legs were so sore from working out that her husband had strapped them into his professional compression gear to ease the pain

Victory in her sights: Zolciak is hoping she and Dovolanti can wow the TV judges and the public and win the DWTS glitter ball trophy

The full cast for the new season of DWTS was announced on Good Morning America on Monday.

Paula Deen, Tamar Braxton, and train hero Alek Skarlatos will join previously announced stars Gary Busey, Bindi Irwin, Chaka Khan, Andy Grammer, Nick Carter, Internet sensation Hayes Grier, jockey Victor Espinoza, and the show's first married contestants, Alexa and Carlos PenaVega.

Dancing With The Stars premieres on ABC on September 14.
