They come from vastly different worlds and have a twenty year age difference between them.

But Coco Rocha and Naomi Watts both showed that simplicity is the key when it comes to a chic look.

The 46-year-old British-born actress and 26-year-old Canadian model were two of the stars in attendance at the Nirav Modi jewellery store opening in New York City on Tuesday night.

As the lovely ladies wanted to make sure their intricate bling was what would be grabbing the attention, they both opted to wear black and white ensembles for the occasion.

Naomi looked elegant in a black midi dress featuring a zipper down the middle and flared sleeves.

The King Kong actress matched the look with a pair of strappy black heels and patterned clutch.

Her blonde locks were worn in an elegant updo as she had complimentary make-up on her face highlighted by dark pink lipstick.

She made sure to accessorise with blinged out jewellery from the Indian jewellery designer including intricate silver dangling earrings, a bracelet and ring on her left index finger.

Not to be outdone Coco also showed off silver jewellery including a diamond encrusted intricate silver necklace, bracelet and flashy bands on both her ring fingers.

Her raven-coloured rocks were worn down flowing over her shoulders as she accentuated her porcelain skin with natural make-up topped off with a swipe of shiny nude lip.

She looked in absolutely great shape for just giving birth to daughter Ioni – her first child with husband of five years James Conran – on March 28.
