She's been making Venice her catwalk over the past week.

And as Elizabeth Banks emerged from her hotel on Wednesday afternoon, she did it again.

The Hollywood star, 41, opted for a perfectly chic set of separates - that made the most of her enviable legs - as she stepped out in the midst of the Venice Film Festival, during which she is a member of the prize-giving jury.

The Hunger Games star proved that her fashion prowess isn't confined to red carpets, her off-duty ensemble looking just as lovely as the often highly-decorated dresses she has been wearing to film premieres.

She teamed a pair of slim-fitting and leg-flattering black trousers - cropped at the ankle - with a loose pink and black sequinned top.

The overall vibe was that of painfully glamorous insouciance: a night-time look that worked well for daylight hours.

Elizabeth teamed her fetching garments with a pair of dainty strappy black heeled sandals, and an art deco-inspired pink and gold box clutch.

Hinting that she was perhaps heading out for an evening at one of the Italian city's fine restaurants or bars in-between judging this year's Venice Film Festival hopefuls, her blonde locks were worn in sophisticated curls.

She couldn't hide her smile as she left her temporary home as the sun set on Wednesday, clearly enjoying her time in the lovely location.

Earlier in the day, she looked wonderfully chic, clad in Riviera-style clothing, as she stepped out with fellow juror Diane Kruger.

The lovely ladies looked in fantastic spirits as they walked through Venice together, having a chat and once again, making the pavements their unofficial runway.

Modish mavens: The twosome were clad in gorgeous outfits - Elizabeth in billowing cream trousers, a drop top, denim jacket and a hat, while Diane opted for a leg-flashing LBD

Elizabeth teamed a pair of wide-legged cream cropped trousers with a flattering high-waistline, teamed with a white crop top and a denim jacket.

Adding to the overall nautical theme, she teamed a straw hat with a pair of shades.

Diane, 39, meanwhile, looking rather sexy for the daytime, keeping it simple in a very tiny LBD, flat heels and shades.

Elizabeth and Diane are on the prize jury for the festival this year, which runs until September 12 and will review such films as Everest and The Danish Girl.

Multi-talented comedy icon Elizabeth - who recently reprised her role as Lindsay for Netflix's Wet Hot American Summer prequel series, First Day of Camp, and who directed Pitch Perfect 2 - will next appear in the conclusion to the The Hunger Games series.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 hits theaters November 20, and the actress will follow that with Pitch Perfect 3, due out in July 2017.
