Bella Hadid and The Weeknd were seen putting on a serious public display of affection on Tuesday night in New York.

Their appearance together seems to confirm the rumours that the model, 18, and the Canadian singer and record producer are romantically involved.

While they've been seen arriving separately at the same venues in the past, they have not previously been photographed together in public.

Taking the lead: Bella Hadid and The Weeknd were seen putting on a serious public display of affection on Tuesday night in New York following weeks of romance rumours

The duo made little effort to hide their affection for each other, with Bella leading the musician beau by the hand as she strutted out of the Up and Down Nightclub, where they headed after their meal to celebrate rapper Travis Scott's sold-out show at the Gramercy Theatre in New York City.

The model - younger sister of Gigi Hadid - certainly turned heads in her date-night ensemble, flashing a hint of sideboob in a skimpy leotard which she matched with figure-hugging jeans.

Last Month, the pair were seen arriving at different times at Hollywood hotspot The Nice Guy where they joined Bella's sister Gigi, 20, and her beau Joe Jonas, 26.

It's believed that the teen and the producer, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, have been dating for about four months and they attended the Coachella music festival together in April.

Confirmation? Their appearance together seems to confirm the rumours that the model, 18, and the 25-year-old Canadian singer and record producer are romantically involved

The model shared a photo on her Instagram on Saturday showing herself sunbathing in a tiny black bikini with two galpals, Victoria's Secret model Devon Windsor and Lauren Perez.

She captioned the snap: 'Smileeeeeyyyys.'

She's likely in town for Fashion Week that kicked off Tuesday.

On August 31, Bella dropped big hints that she's set to feature in Victoria's Secret PINK Christmas campaign alongside her friend Devon and model Rachel Hilbert.

Rachel, 20, became VS PINK's official spokesmodel back in June, while Devon, 21, made her VS Fashion Show debut in 2013.
