Out With My Baby! Guy Sebastian affectionately carries weary son Hudson, five, as pair enjoy a day bonding at the park

He has declared he is 'back with a vengeance' as he returns to the judging panel of X Factor Australia.

But crooner Guy Sebastian took time out of his busy schedule to bond with his mini-me son, Hudson, five, on Thursday.

The 33-year-old former Australian Idol winner, who is married to celebrity stylist Jules, 34, gamely took on daddy duties soaking up the warm spring sunshine at a Sydney park.

Looking every inch the doting father, Malaysian-born Guy held his little boy close as they ambled around the sun-dappled park.

After tearing around the green, Hudson tired himself out running straight into his father's arms for a lift home.

Wrapping his arms around the Beautiful Life hitmaker, Hudson, who has a younger brother Archer, born last April, appeared contented as he perused his environs from a height.

The pair could almost be carbon copies of each other with Hudson wearing blue versions of the same style Nike trainers as his father.

Guy looked relaxed and carefree in a colourful jersey top, jeans and a cap, and shielded his eyes from the glare of the sun behind John Lennon-style sunglasses.

The singer's family life has always seemed picture-perfect but Guy has previously told he struggles with parenting his two sons like any other parent.

Talking to FOXFM's Fifi and Dave Show last year, he said he and wife Jules take a 'gentle' approach to discipline - but have been surprised by an aggressive streak in their 'sweet kid' Hudson, then two.

He said he and his TV star wife 'actually had to take him [Hudson] out of daycare because he was just bashing the c**p out everyone.

'It's unbelievable. It's embarrassing too, because he's such a sweet kid,' Guy laughed.

'Jules will hate me saying this stuff [but] they invented a game at daycare called 'Gentle Hands' just for him.

'It involves being gentle with your hands - AKA Don't beat the C**p Out of Other Kids.

'We're not physical parents, we're quite gentle with him - we're very, very gentle- and it's all about naughty step and all that sort of stuff,' Guy said, later laughing that sometimes, 'all those theories just go out the window!'

The Like a Drum singer, who married Jules in 2008, says the couple used to have 'regular date nights' before having children but still enjoy a healthy sex life.
