OMG, Sharon, I adore the cat costume!!!
I think I have all the pieces, excepting the ears… Will a couple of hair clips and a pair of cardboard ears do the work?

It’s a very good idea, Criss. Still, I would recommend a headband instead of hair clippers because it’s a bit more stable. HERE is a great tutorial that might help you with your project.
