Psychedelic: The festival, now in its 29th year, ended on Sunday, following the burning of the Temple of Remembrance

Burning Man is an annual music and arts festival that takes place at the end of August in the Nevada desert, where attendees - called burners - dress up in elaborate outfits to party for a week before burning the temporary city to the ground

The desert setting of the festival poses unique challenges for Burners, as temperatures can be as high as the 80s during the day and dip 40 degrees at night

Practical: When dressing for their days, revelers have to prepare for sand storms, scorching sun and dramatic temperature changes

Thousands of attendees have now left Black Rock City and the Burning Man festival, with the mass exodus lasting through Monday
