This is the moment a holidaymaker passed out several times while riding an intense slingshot ride in Magaluf.

The footage, captured at the Spanish holiday resort, features a British tourist attempting to stay conscious while battling with the G-Force effects of the ride.

The video begins with the man looking slightly more nervous than his friend – partly because another friend tells him to sit back to ensure he doesn’t get electrocuted – as the duo wait for the ride to begin.

The slingshot is fired and immediately the man begins screaming, while his calmer friend appears to be enjoying the view.

Suddenly, the screaming stops and the holidaymaker’s eyes close as his head lulls backwards in the seat.

The sound of his friend wakes him up momentarily and he begins screaming again, while looking around as if unsure as to what is going on and where he currently is.

Before he passes out once again and silently falls back into his seat.

The video concludes with the ride coming to a stop and the friend attempting to wake the man up by grabbing his face.

The man laughs in response and appears to regain complete consciousness.

Writing online afterwards the friend on the ride said: ‘My mate was completely fine afterwards, we were stood there laughing at the video we were watching afterwards.

The slingshot ride was invented by Troy Griffin in 1978 as an alternative to the bungee jump.

The capsule is catapulted vertically with a G-Force of 3.5 and enables passengers to experience total weightlessness.
