Actors Christina Sajous and Ethan Paulini are suing cabbie Gregory Adolph and four New York cops, after a nightmare journey allegedly saw them verbally abused before being arrested. The pair claim the driver called them a 'n*****' and a f*****', and continue that when they insisted on getting out he told four police officers they had dodged the fare to have them arrested.

The pair would rope in U.S. citizens desperate for money - from gay men to homeless people - and pay them up to $10,000 each to pose as faux partners. The elaborate marriage fraud scheme that has netted organizer Jason Shiao, 65, and his daughter Lynn Leung, 43, about $3.5 million since 2006, authorities say. The pair are accused of processing more than 70 fraudulent immigration applications over the last 10 years, making the faux couples pose up for fake wedding photos and even honeymoon happy snaps. Their arrests followed a three-year investigation and a raid on an office building in Pasadena, which investigators say Shiao and his daughter used as the base of their alleged operation.

Harold Henthorn (right) is on trail for murdering his second wife Toni (pictured with Henthorn, left) for her life insurance, and making it look like an accident. He is accused of pushing her off a 140ft high cliff in the Rocky Mountains in 2012. Investigators also claim he stole a $30k diamond from her wedding ring before pushing her from the cliff. His first wife, Sandra Lynn Henthorn, also died under suspicious circumstances, prosecutors say, when she was crushed by a car in 1995.

Apple has unveiled a string of new products - including new iPhones, a 'monster' iPad, a $100 pencil and an upgraded version of their TV box. Amy Thomson's life was altered beyond recognition after she collapsed at an 'ecstasy party' in June at a house in Glasgow. Named Homo naledi, the species has been assigned to the genus Homo, to which modern humans also belong. The bones (pictured top right) were located in the Rising Star cave system in South Africa's Gauteng province, in a remote chamber that can only be accessed via several steep climbs and fissures. The age of the the skeletons are also yet to be determined. It is not yet clear how more than a dozen H. naledi skeletons - ranging from babies to elderly individuals - ended up in a remote region of a large cave. The city's Museum of Modern Art is devoting an entire floor to the sculptures in the first exhibition of his 3D work in nearly 50 years. From his earliest piece, a tiny terra cotta of a seated woman created in 1902, to a head of a woman made in 1964, the sculptures showcase the scope, range and variety of the famous artists' work.
