And actress Kate Hudson, 36, opted for a rather kooky take on fashion as she headed out in a quirky flared jumpsuit while out and about in New York on Wednesday evening.

The blonde beauty works hard at the gym to maintain her lithe figure, and she showcased the fruits of her labour in the strapless patterned one-piece.

The geometric-print design was both a stylish and quirky choice for her appearance ahead of New York Fashion Week.

Kate styled the colourful one-piece with a pair of black pointed heels, which featured mesh detailing to the toe.

The actress, seen carrying a La Perla bag, styled her blonde locks into short, choppy waves while her skin looked glowy and radiant, coupled with a berry-stained lip.

The gym bunny was accompanied by a female friend, who looked glam in a sleeveless, mustard-yellow blazer, worn with similarly-patterned trousers to Kate's.

The busy screen star has been staying in a hotel during her time in NYC, where she's thought to be filming the movie, Mother's Day.
