She was spotted looking puffy-faced last month showing off a different visage.

But Courteney Cox looked a little more like herself as she joined a friend for lunch in Beverly Hills on Wednesday.

The 51-year-old actress kept it casual for her low-key chow-down, being sure to carry a large bottle of water in the extreme Los Angeles heat - which tipped the mercury at 100 degrees.

She teamed a loose fitting maroon T-shirt with cropped skinny fitting grey denim jeans, which showed off her slim physique.

The Friends star looked remarkably line-free as she went without make-up, with a pair of tinted square-framed glasses covering her eyes.

She left her raven locks to hang in loose waves around her shoulders, with a centre parting.

Her feet were kept cool in black leather sliders and she carried a black handbag - although appeared to have most of the contents in her hands.

Last month she started tongues wagging after stepping out to the Amazon premiere for drama series Hand Of God looking not like her usual self.

When posing with fiance Johnny McDaid, 39, of Snow Patrol, the Cougar Town actress - who has admitted to using Botox in the past - had puffier cheeks and her eyes looked smaller than usual.

Courteney Cox was spotted out and about being the typical laid back luxe she's known for. The actress kept her look minimal with a chic pair grey skinnies, burgundy tee, and a pair of black leather sandals punctuating the ensemble perfectly.

The couple have been engaged since June 2014 and are planning their nuptials.

Courteney recently revealed that English singer Ed Sheeran, 24, would be performing at their wedding as he introduced them to each other.

She celebrated the marriage of her best friend Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux last month, when she was reportedly the Maid Of Honor.
