'I personally have been on a lot of dates with men who assume that because I'm fat, I'm so obsessed with food,' said the Greensboro, North Carolina native, before going on to reveal, 'I'm really not.'

According to the reality star, who gained 200 pounds after being diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, planning a date that revolves around eating is just a 'cop-out.'

But that's clearly not an issue when it comes to Whitney's new boyfriend of two months, Lennie, who has been keeping the reality star company in New York while she promotes the upcoming series of her show.

'I have found a man and he's wonderful. I can't say enough about him,' she told People of the relationship, adding: 'He's hot, I'm heavy.'

So what did it take for Lennie to win Whitney over? Well according to her Cosmopolitan video, any prospective boyfriends or girlfriends hoping to land a date with a plus-size woman need to work harder to come up with an interesting date.

Another thing that really irks Whitney, whose show returns tonight on TLC, is when people automatically assume she's insecure because of her size.

'I've personally worked for a long time to feel good about my body,' offered Whitney, adding, 'Nothing makes me more angry than when someone assumes I don't have self-confidence.'

In that same vein, she admitted it's incredibly upsetting when men don't plan active dates because they think she's lazy or can't do physical activities.

The reality star, who can be seen on the show dancing, biking and swimming, urged them to plan fun outings, saying: 'I want to go out dancing, I want to go hiking. I don't know if I could fit in a kayak, but if I could, I'd like to do that too.'

Still, Whitney cautioned that people should always take into account their date's size.

'If you're not sure she would want to do something, just ask her,' she advised.

Whitney, who has hard to work a great deal on improving her health since being diagnosed with pre-diabetes in the first season of the show, urged people not to objectify women of her size.

She said it's great if people like heavier women, but that their size doesn't define them.

'We have a lot of curves, but we also have a heart,' shared Whitney.

Admitting her size can be a hindrance in the bedroom, the TLC star said people may have to get 'creative' when they're with a heavier partner.

Whitney, who is seen running a 5K in a preview for the second season of her reality show, said that the worst thing someone can do is act embarrassed around her in public.

She shared: 'One really important thing about dating a fat girl is that we need to be treated exactly the same in private as in public.'

If that's not within someone's power, Whitney continued, then simply stop dating the woman.

'Grow up and be a man,' she implored.
