It was a sultry 83 degrees F with 80 percent humidity in Atlanta, Georgia, on Thursday.

But Jennifer Aniston kept her cool as she continued filming Mother's Day on an open air set. The 46-year-old actress donned two skimpy vests, black cargo pants and flip-flops.

Also raising temperatures was 28-year-old Shay Mitchell, who was seen on set in a flirty pink dress.

She appeared to be shooting a scene at an outdoor concert with Pretty Little Liars star Mitchell and a host of extras sitting on fold up chairs around her.

The new comedy is about the intersecting lives of mothers in the run up to the holiday.

It features a starry cast that also includes Julia Roberts, Kate Hudson, Jason Sudeikis, Timothy Olyphant and Britt Robertson.

Directed by octogenarian Garry Marshall, it also stars TV staple Aasif Mandvi of The Daily Show and HBO's The Brink.

Jennifer has been hard at work on Mother's Day since returning from her honeymoon in Bora Bora in late August.

The Friends' star and her actor-screenwriter beau Justin Theroux pulled off the surprise of the year last month when they tied the knot in a secret wedding.

The couple pretended they were throwing a surprise party for the 44-year old Leftovers star on August 5 in order to keep their nuptials under wraps - even from family and friends.

Justin's proposal in August 2012 came just over a year after they started dating in May 2011.

Although they had met before, romance blossomed while they filmed R-rated comedy Wanderlust, released in 2012.

Her new comedy is due out April 29 in the run-up to the actual Mother's Day on May 8, 2016
