Back to black: Victoria Beckham cuts a demure figure in a low-key ensemble before she’s reunited with fashion-conscious son Brooklyn ahead of NYFW showcase
There's always a circus surrounding her seasonal New York catwalk shows.
So it wasn't surprising to see Victoria Beckham attempting to keep a low-profile as she attended meetings in Midtown Manhattan ahead of her New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer '16 showing on Thursday.
Victoria, 41, was dressed for business as she reverted back to her favourite colour - black - for her very important day.

The mother-of-four cut a demure figure despite being dressed in a low-key ensemble which comprised skinny jeans and a long-sleeve light-weight jumper.
Victoria sported her signature oversized designer sunglasses and steely pout as she was pictured leaving an office building in the middle of the city.

The talented designer - who debuted an Audrey Hepburn-inspired short side fringe earlier in the week - wore a head full of thick glossy hair extensions which were lightly teased into a tousled style.
She gave an affirmative nod to her minimalist aesthetic and kept her accessories to a minimum with only a rose gold watch and her wedding ring offering contrasting touches to the all-black look.

The wife of David Beckham had admitted to missing her family earlier in the week but she was reunited with her eldest son Brooklyn, 16, on Friday - soon after he made the long-haul trip on his own.
The mother-and-son duo wore similarly-casual ensembles as they posed in front of a large portrait hours after meeting up.
Sharing a black and white photo of the pair on his Instagram page, the avid photographer simply captioned it: 'NY fashion week. Here we come.'

Victoria also shared a version on the image with her social media followers, making a comment about Brooklyn's growth spurt and fashion sense in the accompanying caption.
'What is with the turn ups @BrooklynBeckham? Who knew I was so short?! X vb,' she wrote alongside it.
She has been busy casting for her catwalk show this week and has shared portraits of her chosen models on her Twitter page.
She's also enlisted the help of a furry friend to assist her with the pre-show prep.
