Jourdan Dunn showcases her incredible abs in a stylish one-shoulder crop top and asymmetric skirt for Topshop NYFW dinner

She's walked their catwalks and fronted their campaigns, but Jourdan Dunn was taking a back seat for Topshop on Thursday night as she welcomed new model Ciara to the family.

Not willing to accept wallflower status, the British beauty still put in quite the memorable appearance as she showcased her incredible abs at the NYFW dinner.

Jourdan, 25, made a clashing one-shoulder crop top and asymmetric skirt work in harmony, proving precisely why she's in such high demand on the modelling scene.

The mum-of-one was enviably toned with her long legs on show simple patent court shoes that matched one side of her unusual skirt.

She was there to support US pop star Ciara, who is being brought on board for the high street fashion brand to front their Spring/Summer 2016 campaign.

The girls posed together, pouting through nude lips; all the while in the shadow of 60-year-old former supermodel Iman, who was also there to support the brand.

Iman kept things retro in a pair of flared jeans and a silk top, looking impressively youthful next to the twenty-something Topshop beauties.

Sir Philip Green's fashion house was certainly pleased about welcoming Ciara to its books, throwing the whole party to welcome her.

On their social media site, they posted a snap of the star and wrote: 'There's a new muse in town. We're celebrating our brand ambassador @Ciara at #NYFW with a dinner hosted by @edward_enninful and @wmag.'

Like fellow attendees Emily Ratajkowski, Irina Shayk and Caroline Vreeland, it only signals the start of a non-stop style month for Jourdan.

She kicks off September as one of W magazine's six coverstars and has already been in attendance at the GQ Awards in London and W's It Girl Luncheon in New York this week/

Jourdan had a few secrets to share about her model strut in the October issue of W, revealing that it was her mother who helped her achieve that memorable catwalk presence.

'I was signed as a model when I was 14,' she explained. 'And I didn’t know how to walk in heels. My mom bought me these kind of stripper heels and said, "If you can walk in these, you can walk in anything."

'I practised in my house while doing the dishes so I’d learn to be stable, but, truthfully, I never really learned.”
