Fashion darling Dakota Johnson stepped out in another edgy outfit on Thursday.
The actress wore an unusual long green dress for an appearance on NBC's Today Show in New York to promote her upcoming true-crime movie Black Mass.
She stars opposite Johnny Depp, who plays underworld criminal Whitey Bulger.

Dakota plays his girlfriend Lindsey Cyr, the mother of Whitey's son, Douglas, who died after a severe reaction to aspirin when he was just six years old.
When asked about working with Johnny on the film, the 25-year-old raved about star.
‘It was so wonderful and special,' she said. 'Such a lucky situation to be able to work closely and intimately with one of the most phenomenal actors of our time. It’s really awesome.'
The film comes hot on the heels of her role as Anastasia Steele in Fifty Shades Of Grey.

Whitey is an 86-year-old convicted murderer and a former organized crime boss of the Boston Irish mob crew known as the Winter Hill Gang.
He went into hiding in December 1994 and remained at large until he was arrested outside an apartment in Santa Monica, California, along with his then girlfriend Catherine Greig.
Whitey is currently serving double life at the Coleman II Penitentiary in Sumterville, Florida.
Black Mass is due for release on September 18
