Fancy that! Iggy Azalea emerges with bandaged fingers as she removes tattooed dedication to ex-boyfriend A$AP Rocky

Her fiancé may well be keen to slip a ring on her finger, but Iggy Azalea appeared keen to wipe something off it during an appearance in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

The Australian rapper emerged with thick bandages swathed around three fingers on her left hand, suggesting she is keen to remove her tattooed dedication to ex-boyfriend ASAP Rocky.

Iggy previously wore the words Live and Love on two of her fingers, followed by the acronym A$VP on a third - before famously tattooing a cross over the latter following her split from Rocky in 2012.

The Fancy hit-maker carried a small bag from Epione, a Beverly Hills based cosmetic surgery specialist offering treatments including laser removal surgery, liposuction and Botox.

Making her way towards a waiting car, Iggy looked casual in a loose fitting denim shirt and jeans decorated with printed stars.

The 25-year-old completed her look with a pair of peep-toe pumps, while her blonde locks were easily maintained with a simple centre parting.

Iggy kicked off the lengthy tattoo removal process last December during a visit to the appropriately titled Dr. Tattoff clinic in Studio City, California.

The move marked her first attempt to remove the permanent reminder of her rapper ex as she moves on with her fiancé, basketball player Nick Young.

After spending some time inside the tattoo removal centre, the Fancy star emerged with a bandage covering her pinky finger.

Iggy dated the A$AP Mob member for a year but their notoriously up and down relationship came to an end in 2012.

The female rapper made a statement about their split by having an X tattooed over his name.

She started dating Nick in October 2013 and the sportsman - who proposed earlier this year - recalls feeling surprised as he got to know Iggy’s true character compared with the impression he got from her music.

‘From her songs, I thought she’d be all about going to clubs and partying, but it’s the opposite of that,’ he told DuJour magazine. ‘She wakes up early every morning to take care of her dogs, and she cooks for me.

‘From her rapping, I was very surprised that she could do all that. She’s a really cool, down-to-earth person.’
