EXCLUSIVE 'We keep each other interested': Professor Green discusses his sex life with Millie Mackintosh, their 'heated' rows and mutual penchant for saucy snaps

They have been plagued by rumours of marital problems for the past few months, amid reports of public rows, therapy and even divorce.

But, in an exclusive interview with MailOnline, Professor Green has finally set the record straight on his marriage to Millie Mackintosh, 26, admitting while he and his wife of two years are known for their 'heated' arguments, they are happier than ever.

The 31-year-old rapper, who released his debut autobiography Lucky this week, opened up on the couple's very 'interesting' sex life, their penchant for snapping saucy shots of each other and why their marriage is definitely not in need of saving.

Joking about posting a rather revealing photograph of his reality star wife in the bath last weekend, the Read All About It hitmaker insisted his Instagram followers will be seeing plenty more in the coming future, while hitting back at claims that he and Millie have been seeing a therapist.

Speaking to MailOnline, he said: 'We haven’t had marriage counselling, all I said is that I see a therapist and Millie now sees one too. We have sat down with her together so she can explain things.

'We are going to have to wait and see if our marriage needs saving. Some people want there to be trouble because it makes it more entertaining, but sorry guys! We are happy and you are going to have to continue seeing pictures of Millie in the bath!'

Professor Green - real name Stephen Manderson - also laughed off reports the couple were set to divorce, admitting he and Millie were re-living their romantic honeymoon on Italy's Amalfi Coast when the newspaper claims surfaced.

He said: 'At the time that article came out we had returned to where we went on honeymoon with Millie’s family for her dad’s 60th.

'We were being all soppy and re-living our honeymoon and eating loads and loads of pasta, and drinking bottles of wine having a great time.

'I got tweeted, saying "Don’t tell me it’s true" and I saw what they were talking about – they couldn’t have been further from the truth! We were laughing!'

And while things may appear perfect between the musician - who was brought up by his beloved grandmother on an East London council estate - and his heiress wife, Pro admitted they argue over domestic issues, just like any couple.

In fact, the star revealed former Made In Chelsea star Millie's sense of humour is part of what attracted him to her when they first met back in 2012.

He told MailOnline: 'Millie and I argue over her not turning the lights off, me leaving my boxers on the floor! Even though it might get heated, it's healthy.

'We spend our whole time taking the mickey out of each other and we love it! It is never mean, it is just a giggle and if it wasn’t then I wouldn’t be with her! Your looks are going to go but your sense of humour always stays!'

The couple were first linked in late 2011 after Pro spotted Millie - then starring in Made In Chelsea - on the cover of lads' mag FHM, and asked his publicist to introduce him.

After making their public debut as a couple on the red carpet at the 2012 BRIT Awards in February, Millie announced the pair's engagement in April 2013 when the rapper popped the question during a romantic trip to Paris.

Posting a snap of her dazzling sparkler on her Twitter and Instagram pages at the time, Millie said: 'If I could scream loud enough for the whole world to hear I would.' (sic)

And despite recently celebrating their second wedding anniversary, Pro admitted he and Millie are still very much in the honeymoon period of their romance when it comes to their 'interesting' sex life.

He told MailOnline: 'We have got into heated arguments in the past, but everyone gets heated at times! And we do kiss and make up… a lot! We are f**king married!

'We keep each other interested and surprise each other. There have been a lot of pleasant games played.'

The couple spent the day of their second wedding anniversary - Thursday September 10 - promoting Professor Green's book, Lucky, and attending tome's launch party at London's Lights Of Soho venue alongside a star-studded crowd.

But they plan to celebrate in private on a romantic holiday later this month, with the rapper saying: 'Millie and I are getting some food at our favourite Italian restaurant after the launch. We are going somewhere abroad in a few weeks so we will celebrate our anniversary then.'

When they first started dating, detractors suggested the union between the pair wouldn't last because of their different upbringings.

While Professor Green was brought up on a Hackney council estate by his doting grandmother, Patricia, Millie was born into the wealthy Mackintosh family, as an an heiress to the Quality Street confectionery fortune.

But, fondly recalling their first date, the rapper joked that Millie surprised him by insulted him and suggesting he wasn't a 'bad boy', which was her usual type.

He told MailOnline: 'The first time we went on a date, she joked with me, saying "I’ll be honest with you, you’re not my normal type. I wouldn’t go for guys like you, I normally go for the bad boys!"

'So she called me a good boy, do you know how insulting that is!? I just carried on whatever I was eating… thinking, "Where do I go from here"?'

Professor Green's debut autobiography, Lucky, documents his tough upbringing, tricky childhood, his father's tragic suicide, as well as the star's near-fatal nightclub stabbing in 2009, which he admits left him 'millimetres away from death'.

And the star joked that perhaps a more appropriate title for the tome would have been Fortunate, given the circumstances.

'Fortunate might have been a better name for the book because I am very fortunate to have had the people and experiences in my life that I have,' he joked. 'But lucky is a better word, Fortunate is a s**t title for a book!

'I have been lucky. People can look at me getting stabbed as unlucky, but the fact I walked away from it with no lasting damage beyond my scar and my appearance, you don’t get poked in the neck and have that happen.

'I could have lost the use of my arms or my voice box. I was millimetres away from death!'

Professor Green concluded: 'I was really careful to keep the tone of the book upbeat. I am honest about how things happened, but there is still a bit of jest in there.

'In my music, I have never played the victim of being stabbed. My music and my first album all I said was, "I’m back from the dead, got shanked in the neck!" I mean chicks dig scars right?'
