Like everything, Lady Gaga is now putting her own stamp on horror.

Heading to the Hollywood set for American Horror Story: Hotel once again on Thursday, the platinum pop princess flashed her flesh-coloured underwear as she stripped down to a racy scarlet red open skirt and crop top.

The 29-year-old is making her acting debut, but will surely not be forgotten as she adds her signature eclectic - and sometimes a bit scary - style to the part of 'wealthy social doyenne,' The Countess.

Lady Gaga walked on set of American Horror Story: Hotel in a red hot ensemble fit for a Countess.

The red halter top and side tied red skirt pair curiously with her clear platform performance shoes.

The look is certainly more fit for costume than everyday wear, but you could easily go with this autumn's 70's revival trend by pairing the top with high waisted jeans. Or try a black suede a-line skirt for a fun, night out look.

Balancing cleverly, Gaga couldn't be missed in clear perspex skyscraper heels as she headed to the set with the crew in her shadow.

She made wide strides that readily revealed her flesh-coloured knickers, which were a wise choice considering the large side split of the floaty skirt.

It was matched in colour to a plunging crop top, under which she was evidently braless, and flashing an eyeful from the front and sides as her Rapunzel tresses flowed down her back.

The acting part - in which she runs the fictional downtown Los Angeles inn, the Hotel Cortez - is just another opportunity for the chart topper to express herself.

It's a part that creator Ryan Murphy has called 'consumed with art, fashion and people' in a similar style to Lady Gaga herself.

And though the blonde is known to feature in the first episode of Season 5, it's expected that her part will stretch out across the series.

The musician has previously featured in cameos in Machete Kills, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For and Muppets Most Wanted but is thought to have approached Ryan Murphy directly to obtain this part.

And it might possibly be the best fit for the queen of eccentricity.
